PRX Derm Perfexion’s formulation is designed to penetrate deep into the dermal and basal layers of the skin for comprehensive skin rejuvenation. The formulation relies on three primary active ingredients to provide deep cleaning, brightening, healing, and skin cell turnover. They are:

  • Trichloroacetic acid (TCA)—an active ingredient used for exfoliation in many chemical peels, TCA stimulates the production of connective tissue fibroblasts and has anti-inflammatory properties that help destroy the buildup of bacteria, microbes, and other contaminants in the pores.

This process will then be repeated and, depending on any targeted skin conditions and desired results, you will undergo between two and five applications per session. Once you are finished with the applications, your skin will again be washed and a deep moisturizer applied. Depending on the treatment area, sessions typically last 30 to 45 minutes.
