Your Silhouette InstaLift® Procedure

Prior to initiation of any Silhouette Instalift® procedure, Tru Glo’s in-house Nurse Practitioner Stacey Blake, APRN, will consult with you to assess patient goals, gauge skin condition, and plan suture placement. Suitable candidates for Silhouette Instalift® must have good skin quality that is neither too thick nor too thin, but also showing signs of noticeable sagging.

During the actual in-office procedure, your Silhouette Instalift® specialist will mark out the areas on the face needing lifting and provide a local anesthetic to numb the area before inserting the sutures. The specialist will then gently insert a needle to a depth of approximately 5 mm, guide it through the subcutaneous tissue of the mid-face region, and extract it at each bi-directional exit point. Once the desired lifting and contouring has been achieved, typically within about 45 minutes, the procedure is done.

Some patients might experience a minimal inflammatory tissue reaction after the procedure. Other potential symptoms include minor pain, swelling and bruising. Any side effects beyond the above listed ones should be reported to Tru Glō Medspa as soon as possible.
